Due by popular demand, we are proud to announce that we now offer a full sealed ball bearing kit for the Tamiya Bruiser and Mountaineer. The ball bearing kit includes all bearings for the front axle, steering knuckles, rear axle, and the transmission. In addition to the full bearing kit, you will also receive the correct number of shims that are required to keep proper tolerances with the flanged bearings. Testing has shown that our bearings, which are metal shielded, will run better and better as the ball races are turned. Basically, as your bearings are "broken in" and the packing is displaced evenly with the ball races, your truck will run smoother every time you run your truck. In fact, you should see a considerable increase in run time after the tenth or eleventh run.
What's not included?
This kit does not include bearings for the hubs or the main cluster gear of the transmission.
Because of the precise tolerances required of the main cluster gear and the special knurling tool required for re assembly, it is our recommendation that the main cluster gear assembly remain as is and not modified.
